With Khadi Color Prep, preparing your hair for herbal coloring is easier than ever before. Every initial hair color is inherently unique - just as dyeing with Khadi herbal colors is unique. Khadi Color Prep prepares the hair structure for dyeing with Khadi herbal colors and helps achieve an even, pronounced result, especially if the initial hair color is gray or very light and the intention is to significantly darken. In the "Use" tab, you will find the two most important situations for using this shade.

100% natural and is certified BDIH - Controlled Natural Cosmetics and Vegan. It is therefore free of any synthetic coloring ingredients, color enhancers or metal salts. And of course, free of ammonia and peroxides. It has excellent coverage, including gray hair. Valuable, purely plant-based ingredients such as senna or cassia, indigo, henna, walnut, pomegranate, Himalayan rhubarb and aloe vera ensure a rich, naturally radiant colour and at the same time intensive care.

Usage:

Wash your hair with a natural, silicone-free shampoo.

Mix the colouring powder with water at a temperature of 50°C. You can use this thermometer to measure the temperature of the water. Add water gradually until a creamy paste with the consistency of sour cream is formed. For shoulder-length hair, you need approximately 80 - 100 g of powder. Apply the paste to freshly washed, towel-dried hair, ideally with a brush. Apply it as warm as possible, but not hot. It is optimal to start at the scalp and then continue along the lengths, strand by strand. You can also choose to only colour the roots. Cover your hair with a plastic cap (included in the package, along with gloves) and a towel or warm hat.

Let the dye work for 30 - 60 minutes. The longer you let the dye work, the more intense the resulting color will be. A treatment time of up to 30 minutes gives a cool medium blonde, a treatment time of 60 minutes and longer gives a warm, golden to strawberry blonde with a medium depth of color. Then rinse the paste with water only. And that's it.

Avoid washing your hair with shampoo for 24 - 48 hours after dyeing, because the color is still developing due to oxidation in the air. Before the first shampooing, we recommend using Khadi hair oil, which will promote pigment fixation. Just leave it on for 30 minutes. Wash your hair with a natural shampoo.

Recommendation: every hair is different. Just as we are all different, the structure and pigmentation of the hair is also individual. Individual results may therefore vary in the case of natural colors. It is therefore best to test the color first on an inconspicuous strand of hair.

Do you have very damaged hair? Khadi Hair Treatment Senna / Cassia serves as the optimal preparation for such hair before proceeding with the coloring itself. With each application, it builds the hair structure so that the hair can evenly absorb the vegetable color during coloring.

Do you prefer a more intense coloring, but avoid a strawberry blonde tone? In this case, perform two short dyeings with this shade immediately after each other instead of choosing a longer exposure time, i.e. perform a two-step dyeing method, with the same shade in both dyeing steps.
