Kondurango – Marsdenia cundurango – is a plant growing in mountain jungles and cloud forests at an altitude of up to 3000 m, so in the Czech Republic, where our mountains are not high enough, unfortunately kondurango cannot be grown. It is native to the slopes of the Andes in Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. It is a winding shrub, whose woody stem grows up to 10 m long.

Kondurango is used in phytotherapy as a means to support digestion and stomach function.

The provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on nutrition and health claims, do not allow us to inform you about the effects of this plant on your body. Please find information about the effect in freely available sources on the Internet or in literature.

Traditional use: Put one teaspoon in 200 ml of cold water, bring to the boil and boil for about 10 minutes. Let cool, stir and strain. Drink 2–3 times a day lukewarm, the active ingredients precipitate in hot water.

Warning: Not suitable for children under three years of age, pregnant and lactating women.
