Lapacho bark

The bark of the lapacho tree (Tabebuia impetiginosa) is processed in accordance with food standards, but according to Decree No. 58/2018 Coll., which is in force since 1 November 2018, it may not be used as a food or food supplement. We therefore supply the bark only as a raw material for external use and for further processing (e.g. in cosmetics).

Lapacho is a tree originating from the Amazon rainforest and other tropical regions of South and Latin America. It grows up to 25 m tall, has smooth bark and the hallmark of the tree is very hard wood, resistant to decay. The Indians call it the tree of the gods.
