Herbs imported to us from the Mediterranean have a touch of specialness also because they do not grow in the wild here. Lavender is one of them. It is also grown here due to its phytotherapeutic effects, but it requires a warm location and lighter soil with lime content.
Lavender helps to find better, healthy sleep, promotes relaxation. It has a positive effect on digestion.

Preparation of tea: Pour two teaspoons of lavender flowers into ¼ l of water and steep for 15 minutes. Then strain and sip.
External use: Externally, it is added to baths to support the health of the musculoskeletal system, especially the joints. It is also used in cosmetic baths and in perfumery.
Bath preparation: Brew four handfuls of lavender leaves in 4 liters of boiling water. Infuse for 15 minutes, then strain and pour into the bath. The bath temperature should be 35–38 °C. It is suitable for refreshing the skin.
