Product detailed description
Cuti cuti is a wild and perennial fern growing up to one meter high. Its homeland is the rainforest, where it is most often found at an altitude of around 1,500 meters above sea level near waterfalls and in crevices. The leaves of cuti cuti are up to 8 cm long, with a dark brown and lanceolate edge. The entire above-ground part of the plant is the useful part.
Cuti cuti is a common part of folk medicine in Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Ecuador and Venezuela. The plant is also known for its pungent smell and strong aroma.
The provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on nutrition and health claims, do not allow us to inform you about the effects of this plant on your body. Please find information about the effects in freely available sources on the Internet or in literature.
Traditional use:
Pour two tablespoons of dried nati cuti cuti into 500 ml of cold water and bring to a boil. Boil over low heat for about 5 minutes and let stand for at least eight hours. It is ideal to prepare the evening before the day of use so that the decoction can macerate all night. Cover the pot with a lid or cloth. In the morning, strain and divide the cooked dose into two parts, which we will take on an empty stomach in the morning and before lunch.
A faster preparation option is to pour one teaspoon of dry matter into 200 ml of hot water and let stand for 15 minutes. We can also use the tea prepared in this way 3 times a day. Can be sweetened with honey.
