A luxurious spread with 26% macadamia nuts scented with real Bourbon vanilla. Fair trade palm oil comes from Ghana, where palm trees are planted with respect for the environment as part of the project and there is no deforestation to obtain new plantations. Macadamia has a special, very interesting cocoa nutty sweet and salty taste. It is excellent for pastries, desserts and for gluing together sweets and sponge cakes. However, the best is iced by the spoonful for snacking.
What is Bourbon vanilla? Bourbon vanilla is the name of the vanilla that was originally grown only on the former Bourbon Island (now Reunion) and is now cultivated on other islands in the Indian Ocean - Madagascar and the Comoros. This vanilla naturally contains a higher percentage of vanillin, the main aromatic substance that gives vanilla its scent.
