Product detailed description

Manayupa is a traditional plant known throughout Peru since the time of the Incas. The herb is creeping, highly resistant to drought thanks to its long roots, reaching deep into the ground. The use of manayupa was a privilege of the upper social classes and had a partly ceremonial and cult character.

Manayupa is an excellent choice for cleansing the liver. The liver, as is known, is the largest internal organ in the human body. It is able to handle up to 2 liters of blood per minute, which indicates its great importance for the body. The liver is a factory for processing substances captured from the blood and therefore must be properly cared for. Manayupa contributes to maintaining liver health.

The provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on nutrition and health claims, do not allow us to inform you about the effects of this herb on your body. Please find information about the effects in freely available sources or in a herbarium.

Dosage and method of preparation: Put one tablespoon of dried nati manayupa in 1 l of cold water and bring to a boil. Cook for about 5 minutes on low heat and then strain. Take a glass of the decoction 3 times a day (approx. 200–250 ml).

Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. It does not replace a varied diet. It is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women and children under 3 years of age. The infusion is golden yellow in color, with a delicate aroma.
A tincture of manayupa is also recommended.
