Marco is an annual shrubby herb originating from the Peruvian Andes, known for its intense aroma. It is very often found as a shrub on wet and muddy river banks in coastal areas, Andean valleys and on the edges of the rainforest.
Its use is known mainly in its countries of origin. In South America, it was already known to the ancient Incas, for whom the herb was part of spiritual rituals.
The provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on nutrition and health claims, do not allow us to inform you about the effects of this herb on your body. Please find information about its effects in freely available sources or in a herbarium.
Traditional use: Put one heaping tablespoon of dried marco herb in 1 liter of cold water and bring to a boil. Boil on low heat for about 5 minutes, then strain and drink a glass of the decoction 3 times a day.
Warning: Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Do not use simultaneously with ephedrine-based preparations. Not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under 3 years of age.
