Marco is a perennial herb or semi-shrub growing up to two meters high. It belongs to the Asteraceae family - asteraceae.
The herb originates from the Peruvian Andes, is found in South American countries and is famous for its intense aroma. It is very often found as a shrub on wet muddy river banks in coastal areas of the Andean valleys and on forest edges.
