Calendula – Calendula officinalis is one of the most decorative herbs in the Czech garden. Its orange flowers encourage dreaming and, especially in the autumn months, memories of sunny summers flash through our minds.

The package contains a marigold flower with a covering.

The traditional use of marigold is both internal and external. We most often encounter marigold as an ointment or compress. The external effects of marigold are legendary.

Calendula has an effect on the overall refreshment of the body. A beneficial effect has been noted on the skin – it has healing effects. Calendula contributes to maintaining normal intestinal and liver functions, and is helpful in normalizing the respiratory system.

Traditional use: Pour two teaspoons over 250 ml of hot water and let steep for 15 minutes. Never boil marigold flowers! Use twice a day.

Ointment: Dissolve 250 ml of coconut oil in a water bath and add approximately 10 g of flowers. Let macerate for approximately 2 hours until all the substances have passed into the ointment. Then strain through a stocking and let it solidify in the desired doses. You will get a first-class marigold ointment.
