Mild mustard 205 g BIO LABORA

This mustard has a mild, sweet taste and is not hot. It is suitable for potato salad, salad dressings and perfectly complements the taste of meat, sausages or cheese. It can also be used to prepare spreads, sauces and dressings and marinate meat or vegetables. It is produced artisanally and in small quantities according to the original Trappist recipe by monks from the Nový Dvůr Abbey. Traditionally, each monastery of the order must support itself through the work of its monks. The Nový Dvůr Monastery produces mustard, raises sheep and works in the forest. Mustard from Nový Dvůr is a very high-quality product, a relative of the French mustard called "Moutarde à l'ancienne", which can be translated as "Old French mustard". It is made from selected mustard seeds, which are first soaked in a mixture of vinegar and water from the forests surrounding the monastery. It is then ground on a millstone and flavoured with other ingredients. The flavoured mustard is hand-filled into jars, where it matures for several weeks to acquire its unmistakable aroma, which distinguishes it so significantly from competing products.
