Ferokap - pheromone adhesive strip in a roll for monitoring food moths.
A double-sided adhesive paper strip with pheromone, which guarantees effective capture of 4 types of male food moths - warehouse moth, flour moth, date moth and pepper moth. In addition, the product also contains an attractant for effective capture of houseflies.
This is a classic flytrap, to which a pheromone for food moths has been added. This is gradually released from the adhesive surface and attracts males of four types of food moths. The adhesive strip is able to attract moths from a wide range and one trap is sufficient for an area of 500 m3. The attractiveness and therefore effectiveness for food moths has been proven both by laboratory tests and by use in practice.
The aim of the trap is to interrupt the reproduction of food moths, thereby preventing them from laying eggs in food. Its installation will not immediately eradicate adult individuals, but it will ensure that larvae do not appear in food.
