Atlantic sea salt, fine
Not refined or bleached.
Sea salt is not an agricultural product and is therefore not regulated by the EC Regulation on organic farming. Sea salt is therefore not available in organic quality.
The sea salt comes from the area in the east of the Algarve (Portugal). It is still traditional and handmade: sea water is introduced into the scrub growing near the coast and evaporated by the sun. The stones are cleaned of impurities using nets.
