The cooling effect begins when the animal comes into contact (rest) with the pad. An endothermic reaction occurs, during which the crystalline content is converted into a liquid. This endothermic reaction lasts several hours. The pad does not need to be cooled before use. For a super cooling effect, you can put it in the refrigerator for a while. The pad returns to its original state as soon as the animal leaves it. The pad can be very easily cleaned with a damp cloth, it must not be washed in the washing machine. Ideal for use in cars.
