The cooling effect begins when the animal comes into contact (rest) with the pad. An endothermic reaction occurs, during which the crystalline content is converted into a liquid. This endothermic reaction lasts for several hours. The pad does not need to be cooled before use. For a super cooling effect, you can put it in the refrigerator for a while. The pad will return to its original state as soon as the animal leaves it. The cooling effect can be increased by putting the pad in the refrigerator. The pad can be cleaned very easily with a damp cloth, it must not be washed in the washing machine. Ideal for use in cars. Size: 40 x 50 cm. Using the cooling pad: choose the desired location with an ambient temperature of max. 35 °C and place the cooling pad on a flat surface. Get your pet to lie down on the pad, for example by placing a toy or treat on it. After approximately 2 hours of use, the pad must be reactivated by not using it for approximately 20 minutes. Care and maintenance: do not expose the pad to direct sunlight. The pad cannot be washed in a washing machine. If necessary, clean the pad with a damp cloth.
