Nopal is a traditional Mexican cactus, only recently discovered by modern science. Its content of endemic substances makes it a “superfood” of the future.

Nopal originally comes from Mexico, where it was cultivated and widely used by the Aztecs. It was introduced to the Mediterranean Sea and the whole world by Spanish and Portuguese sailors.

The traditional phytotherapeutic use of nopal is very wide and it is difficult to find a similar plant in nature.

Nopal has an effect on fat and glucose metabolism, and is therefore used for weight control and in diet plans. It alleviates the side effects of alcohol consumption (hangover).

Traditional use: Mix half a teaspoon in water and drink. Take 3 times a day.

TIP for preparation: First, put the required amount in a glass, add only 2 times more water than the content of the powder, and mix to a thick paste. Dilute this paste with liquid as desired. This way, no lumps form.
