Maca (Lepidium meyenii) comes from the Peruvian Andes and has a very long tradition of use. For our purposes, the underground part of this root vegetable is processed. The dried and ground root can stimulate our vitality, endurance, and also fertility. It is sometimes also called “Peruvian ginseng”. Mix a dose in cold still water and drink it or add it to your favorite smoothies, muesli, cocktails, fruit or vegetable salads.
