Product detailed description
We offer you 100% pure BIO ground Maqui berry. The fruit is freeze-dried immediately after harvest (the most gentle freeze drying) and then ground. This is 100% BIO quality directly from Chile.
Maqui berries are grown by the Mapuche Indians in Chile. The Indians of this tribe consider maqui a magical fruit. Of course, this did not leave Western scientists cold, who subjected maqui to many tests and studies. The biggest surprise was the measured ORAC value (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) - the size of the antioxidant capacity. The data speaks clearly, in 100 g of Maqui, the ORAC value was measured at 69,930 (blueberries, our largest antioxidant, have 6,500). As of November 2011, maqui is officially the food with the highest measured antioxidant value ever.
The provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on nutrition and health claims, do not allow us to inform you about the effects of this plant on your body. Please find information about its effects in freely available sources on the Internet or in literature.
Traditional use: Mix one teaspoon of maqui powder in water and drink. Take 3 times a day.
TIP for preparation: Add only 2 times more water than powder to the glass of powder and mix to a paste, which we dilute with liquid - this procedure prevents lumps from forming in the drink.
Warning: It does not serve as a substitute for a varied diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Store in a safe place out of reach of children.
Country of origin: Chile
Caution: Very cheap maqui appears on the EU market, sometimes up to a third of the price. Most of the time it is standard dried maqui. This maqui does not have the necessary quality and is usually encapsulated. If maqui is freeze-dried, it has a natural sour taste, if it is dried, it tastes like a cardboard box. If you open the capsule and taste it, you can easily tell the difference between freeze-dried and dried maqui. During drying, losses occur - for example, vit. C is lost by 50% during drying. Lyophilization preserves 95% of all original substances in an unchanged form.
