Product detailed description
The common papaya (Latin Carica papaya) is a thermophilic, dioecious plant growing up to 10 m tall. It resembles a palm tree in appearance and is considered to be native to Central America (southern Mexico, Guatemala). It has not been found in the wild. It is cultivated mainly for its tasty fruits and leaves, which are also served as vegetables. Interestingly, when the tree is injured, especially its bark or unripe fruit, latex begins to flow, which is subsequently used in the food industry, but also in traditional medicine.
Papaya is an excellent aid in reducing body fat, so it is suitable for weight loss diets.
The provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on nutrition and health claims, do not allow us to inform you about the effects of this plant on your body. Please find information about the effects in freely available sources or in a herbarium.
