Perilla bush is an annual plant growing up to 1 m tall. It is native to China, where it is part of traditional medicine and cuisine. It is most often found in sunny locations at altitudes of around 1,200 m above sea level. It belongs to the family of the Asteraceae, and its body structure is comparable to nettles or lemon balm. Its leaves are deep green, sometimes purple, and the stem is square. Its scent is vaguely reminiscent of citronella grass.

Perilla contributes to maintaining normal respiratory system functions and has an effect on the production of cytokines and specific antibodies.

Recommended dosage and preparation method: Take 2 capsules 2–3 times a day, 20 min. before meals.
