Black psyllium – Psyllium ovata – is a variant of psyllium from which the whole seed is harvested along with the husk. The whole seed does not have the same swelling effect as the white psyllium husks.
Using psyllium is suitable when trying to normalize blood cholesterol levels. Psyllium is able to maintain healthy digestion and intestines. Digestive health is important for the absorption of substances obtained from the food you eat.

Dosage and method of preparation: Preferably in the morning on an empty stomach and in the evening before going to bed, one teaspoon in 0.25 l of lukewarm water and drink quickly. Can be added to yogurts and fruit juices. Each dose must be washed down with a large amount of water. The maximum recommended dose is 10 g per day (approx. 5 teaspoons).
