Phu-er or Pu Erh is the name for teas grown in the Chinese province of Yunnan. Pu-erh is made from the leaves of broad-leaved tea trees, which undergo additional fermentation during processing. Thanks to this processing technology, Pu-erh acquires a characteristic earthy taste, which is accompanied by a slight bitterness and astringency. Its “earthiness” is the reason why some of us fall in love with it from the first cup or, conversely, we have to get used to it.

Phu-erh infusion is dark red to black in color. Unlike other teas, it matures with age and becomes better quality. Matured teas provide a milder and rounder taste with a hint of honey aroma. Salvia Paradise® brings you mature Pu-erh, which is over three years old.

Chinese tea tree has a positive effect on mental and physical abilities. It supports the body's natural defenses and cognitive functions. Instructions for preparation and dosage:
Pour 250 ml of boiling water over one tea bag and steep for 3–5 minutes (depending on the desired taste). We use it 2 times a day.
