They are made up of 50% protein and are among the best sources of all B vitamins, including vitamin B12. Brewer's yeast is also a great source of many minerals and trace elements, including selenium, chromium, iron, potassium and phosphorus, and is exceptionally rich in RNA nucleic acid. Malt is made from barley, so this product contains gluten. When cooked, this yeast loses some of its B vitamins and nutrients, so it is best eaten raw.
