Phorax is a new filter medium from Juwel. Phorax reduces the phosphate content (PO4), which results in reduced algae growth. At the same time, it maintains the quality of the water in the aquarium and protects your fish.
In current filter sets, we recommend replacing the coarse blue sponge with this new filter media.
To maintain high water quality, we recommend replacing the Phorax every 2 weeks.
