Calcium powder is a 100% natural supplement that cannot be overdosed. However, if dusted excessively, it can be unpleasant for the animal. Most reptiles and amphibians are able to absorb calcium from food provided that a supply of vitamin D3 is provided, and therefore it is necessary to provide a light source with UVB radiation that ensures the synthesis of D3.
