Product detailed description
Sage has been used since ancient times as a helper of all kinds. A legend from the 10th century says that Arab doctors believed that sage could extend life to the stage of immortality. Other doctors much later recited the proverb "why should a man die who grows sage in his garden". Behind all these proverbs is probably the fact that the antioxidant properties of sage are manifested even after the death of tissue. So it was used to preserve meat, which then did not spoil. The antioxidant-preservative effect is comparable to industrial preservatives.
