Samba's unique full taste is mainly due to the very high content of hazelnuts (45%) supplemented with dried rapadura cane juice, fragrant cocoa, whole milk and real Bourbon vanilla. Fair trade palm oil comes from Ghana, where palm trees are planted with respect for the environment as part of the project and there is no deforestation to obtain new plantations. Samba is excellent for pastries, desserts, as a filling for pralines and chocolate truffles, for gluing sweets and sponge cakes and for direct snacking, ideal from the refrigerator.
What is Bourbon vanilla? Bourbon vanilla is the name of the vanilla that was originally grown only on the former Bourbon Island (now Reunion) and is now cultivated on other islands in the Indian Ocean - Madagascar and the Comoros. This vanilla naturally contains a higher percentage of vanillin, the main aromatic substance that gives vanilla its scent.
