Sausage pepper is a popular spice in our country and in world cuisine. Its aroma is distinctive, intense and long-lasting. It is dominated by a strongly spicy taste, accompanied by a subtle pungency. It has excellent coloring and very pleasantly flavors sauces or vegetable dishes. Interestingly, the ability to color and convey flavor is observable in its entirety, especially in fats. Dissolving it in water will not achieve the desired effect.
Use:
Sausage pepper is suitable for coloring and flavoring dishes such as sauces, sausages, perkelts, and is also excellent in rice, egg, vegetable and potato dishes. We recommend trying it in homemade salamis.
TIP: Fry the onion in hot oil or lard and add ground paprika - this is the basis of many Hungarian dishes. However, be careful not to overcook the paprika, which would give it an unpleasantly bitter taste and ruin the entire dish being prepared. When adding ground paprika, we recommend removing the dish from the heat source or reducing the heat source to the lowest possible level. Return to the heat source only after adding the liquid.
Storage: Keep dry and close tightly.
