Product detailed description

Chinese Schizandra or Chinese Schizandra comes from the Dongbei region of northern China, which is known for its cold climate. Adverse conditions cause slower fruit development, but greater accumulation of active ingredients. Fruits originating from Dongbei are small but very effective.

Schizandra is a first-class herb in traditional Chinese medicine - it is among the most valuable adaptogens and antioxidants. It is suitable for use in cases of increased exertion, fatigue or strain on the body. The effect lasts for 1–6 hours. Schizandra is used as a tonic to support mental well-being. It has an effect on respiratoryhealth, and also contributes to the proper function, health, and cleansing of the liver.

Traditional use:
Dried berries are consumed without further preparation, directly or added to tea. Stimulating effect: 15–40 berries 60 min. before the desired performance. Adaptogenic effect – for mental well-being: divide 15–30 berries into 2 to 3 doses.

Sometimes a white coating appears on the fruits. This is not harmful, it is the crystallization of sugar and citric acid due to pressure (when vacuum-packed or storing larger quantities on top of each other). This coating is easily recognizable from mold by briefly licking it with your tongue, when you can feel the excellent sweet and sour taste. Of course, we are talking about the sugars and acid naturally occurring in the fruits. The fruits do not contain any additives.
