Sometimes a white coating appears on the fruits. This is not harmful, it is the crystallization of sugar and citric acid due to pressure (when vacuum-packed or storing larger quantities on top of each other). This coating is easily recognizable from mold by briefly licking it with your tongue, when you can feel the excellent sweet and sour taste. Of course, we are talking about the sugars and acid naturally occurring in the fruits. The fruits do not contain any additives.
