Brine tuna
Tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis) is caught in the eastern Atlantic (Canary Islands) by local fishermen in a traditional way. In addition to preserving stocks and avoiding bycatch, this method of fishing also contributes significantly to the quality of the product, as the fish are caught without stress.
The catch is certified "dolphin safe" by the Earth Island Institute.
