Shilajit (also silajit, mumijo, mumio, momia) is a substance similar to asphalt. It is formed by a specific transformation of plant and animal remains through contact with minerals in the extreme conditions of the Asian mountains. It was probably discovered by hunters who were watching wounded animals that repeatedly sought out and licked this rock. Subsequently, faster healing of these animals was observed. Given the observed facts, the rock has become the subject of intense human interest. The effects of shilajit are already mentioned in more than 3,000-year-old Sanskrit texts. Modern times have subjected (and are still subjecting) this unique substance to new research.

Shilajit is among the antioxidants, has a positive effect on the immune system. It supports digestion, metabolism of carbohydrates and lipids, and helps control body weight.

Recommended dosage and preparation method: In a small amount of water or juice at the beginning of use, mix 500 mg of shilajit and take 2 times a day before meals. 100 mg of shilajit = 1 level measuring spoon. The recommended duration of use is three weeks.
