Smoked sweet paprika is first smoked before being ground. This gives it its irresistible, characteristic smoky aroma and smoked flavor. It is a popular spice that is suitable wherever a hint of smoke is required. It has excellent coloring and very pleasantly flavors sauces, spreads and cottage cheese. Interestingly, the ability to color and convey flavor is observable in the entire range, especially in fats. Dissolving in water will not achieve the desired effect.

Smoked paprika is suitable for coloring and flavoring especially sauces, spreads, but also cheeses and cottage cheese. It is excellent in soups and sausages. We recommend trying it in homemade salamis, which will give it a smoky flavor.
TIP: Fry the onion in hot oil or lard and add ground paprika - this is the basis of many Hungarian dishes. However, be careful not to overcook the paprika, which would give it an unpleasantly bitter taste and ruin the entire dish being prepared. When adding ground paprika, we recommend removing the dish from the heat source or reducing it to the lowest possible level. Return to the heat source only after adding liquid.
Storage: Keep dry and close tightly.
