Sprouting dishes 3 pieces
Product detailed description
Sprouting trays are one of the easiest and most effective ways to prepare tasty and nutritious sprouts at home in a few days.
The set includes three separate sprouting trays and a bottom tray to catch excess water. The sprouting trays have a special bottom that prevents the seeds from drying out and yet are not completely submerged in water. They are equipped with supports that allow free air flow between the trays. Thanks to a special design, it is possible to water only the upper tray and the seeds in the lower trays will receive a sufficient amount of water.
You can use any number of trays at once, germinate different types of seeds at the same time, or start growing seeds gradually and germinate sprouts at different stages of maturity on individual trays.
The sprouting trays are easy to clean and are made of high-quality, BPA-free, non-toxic plastic. Thanks to their elegant design, the Healthy Day® sprouting bowls will be a useful and tasteful addition to any kitchen.
What can be sprouted?
Any vegetable, legume, cereal or herb seeds. The seeds must be whole, undamaged and unpeeled. Do not use seeds intended for regular cultivation in flower beds. These seeds are often treated with chemicals. Therefore, we recommend using seeds for sprouting in ORGANIC quality.
Seed germination instructions:
First day: soak the seeds in water so that they are completely submerged and let them soak for the time specified on the seed package. After soaking, rinse the seeds thoroughly with water and spread them evenly on the sprouting bowls. The dish should be placed on a flat surface in a place with a room temperature of approximately 20 °C away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Further days: water the seeds with a glass of water at least twice a day (morning and evening). Also water them whenever the seeds start to dry out. In warm weather, the seeds need to be watered more often. Thanks to a special arrangement, it is possible to water only the upper dish and the seeds in the lower dishes will also receive a sufficient amount of water.
Harvest:The speed of sprout growth depends on the specific properties of the germinated seed and the ambient temperature. Remove the sprouts from the dishes and either consume them immediately, or you can store them in the refrigerator, where their growth will slow down significantly.
Specifics of germination of sticky seeds, e.g. cress or rocket: some seeds create a sticky gel when soaked. When germinating them, skip the soaking phase, spread the seeds directly on the germination dish and carefully pour a small amount of water. Let the water drain. Then do not water the seeds, only mist them with a spray bottle. The seeds must not dry out during germination, they need to be misted more often, approximately 5-6 times a day during the first 3-4 days, later 2-3 times a day.

The sprouting dishes are easy to clean and are made of high-quality, BPA-free, safe plastic. Thanks to their elegant design, the Zdravý den® sprouting bowls will be a useful and tasteful addition to any kitchen.
