Edamame is harvested when the pods are still young, green, sweet and crunchy. It contains a lot of protein and fiber and is traditionally used in salads and stir-fry dishes (quick frying in oil). In our case, the green pods are cleaned, placed in a can and covered with water with sea salt. After sealing, the product is heat-treated, which preserves it. The time between harvest and production does not exceed 5 hours. Cooked edamame has a nutty, sweet taste and full aroma. Thanks to heat treatment, its color changes from bright green to beige. We use it as part of cold appetizers or snacks, in purees, soups, salads or vegetable mixtures.
