These large sunflower seeds come from controlled organic farming and are suitable not only for cooking but also for direct consumption. They are a tasty addition to breads and pastries, cookies, muesli mixes, vegetable and grain dishes. Sprouted sunflower seeds and tofu can be easily used in a blender to make healthy and tasty spreads. The seeds can be eaten plain or in table mixes of nuts and dried fruit. Some people prefer lightly roasted seeds with salt in a pan. By blending the roasted seeds, we get sunflower "butter" for pastries and spreads. Sunflower sprouts, which we obtain in a day or two by soaking the seeds in water and rinsing them twice a day, are very tasty and healthy.
