Short, high-quality rice intended primarily for preparing real sushi.A special type of rice that is used mainly in Japanese cuisine, mainly for preparing various types of sushi. Its grains are oval in shape, and after cooking it is sticky so that it can be shaped well and scooped with chopsticks.

Ingredients:
Round-grain peeled rice. May contain traces of gluten.
Preparation:
Sushi rice must be washed very thoroughly. Then let the soaked rice stand for at least 1 hour. The amount of water is 1:2.5 to the original amount of dry rice. Then slowly bring to the boil, cook under the lid for 15-20 minutes and let stand for 10 minutes to the desired consistency. During this preparation, the rice is not seasoned or salted, it is seasoned only after cooking with a vinegar solution with salt. The rice must be sticky in the end, but not cooked.
Storage:
Store at a temperature of up to 25°C, in the shade and with a relative humidity of up to 70%.
