Minthostachys setosa (lat. Minthostachys setosa) is a herb growing up to two meters high. Its structure and branching are more like a shrub. The leaves are ovate-oval, elliptical, soft, and often smooth or slightly hairy.
The homeland of mint is South America, an area from the northern border of Ecuador and Venezuela through Bolivia to the south to central Argentina. Mint is distinguished by its menthol flavor and penetrating aroma. It is an integral part of traditional Peruvian medicine.
