Thyme – lat. Thymus serpyllum is a perennial herb growing up to 30 cm tall. It is a shrub characterized by a strongly aromatic scent. The twigs are thin, often growing from a short woody stem. The stem of thyme is creeping, straight or ascending, monopodially or sympodially branched. The inflorescence is whitish to purple.
Thyme can be easily grown in the garden, it was a well-known herb even to our grandmothers. It is used as a spice in French, Italian and German cuisine. It is also important in the production of liqueurs.
Thyme is recommended for maintaining normal respiratory system functions, and contributes to normal digestion. It is classified as an antioxidant, it has a positive effect on the body's natural defenses. It is also used as a spice.

Traditional use:
Pour two teaspoons of dried nati with 250 ml of boiling water and leave to infuse for about 15 minutes. The tea prepared in this way is consumed 1–2 times a day.
