Tie Guan Yin or "Iron Goddess of Mercy" is considered one of the best Chinese oolongs from the Fujian region. It is very suitable for drinking all day, but also as an afternoon tea that will stimulate further activities. The taste is rich, characteristically floral sweet and long-lasting. The infusion is greenish to yellow-green in color with an exceptionally sweet and very tempting aroma.

Oolong tea is a semi-fermented tea that has undergone partial oxidation. It can be said that it is a tea that has remained halfway between black and green tea. Oolong has retained the best of both types of tea. Oolong teas are characterized by their sweetness and complexity of flavor structure.

The Chinese tea tree acts as an antioxidant and supports physical and mental activity. Drinking tea is suitable for maintaining healthy teeth, supports the condition of bones and skin. It is recommended for weight control, is able to normalize blood glucose levels and fat metabolism. It supports normal heart health.

Recommended preparation:
Put three teaspoons (9–10 g) of tea in a teapot and pour 500 ml of water at a temperature of 70–80 °C. Let it steep for 2 minutes. Up to 5 infusions can be prepared from this tea. With each subsequent infusion, increase the steeping time by approximately 30 seconds. We recommend experimenting with the steeping time.
