Chemicals that are prohibited in food production are used extensively to grow cotton. INSTRUCTIONS FOR ECO-WASHING ORGANIC COTTON: If there is a stain on organic cotton, treat it with bile soap or olive soap with lemon extract before washing. Cotton materials appreciate washing in soap nuts - they remain soft and breathable. We can also use soap nut washing gel for washing. We recommend soap slime only in case of soft water. We recommend washing at 40 ºC. Shrinkage up to 5%. We generally do not use fabric softener on natural materials - it settles on the fibers and reduces the absorbency of the fibers. For the final rinse bath, we use a rinse aid that rinses out detergent residues from the material and keeps the laundry soft and breathable (not necessary if we wash in soap nuts). Grammage: 135 g/m2.
