Ingredients: Basmati rice. Nutritional values per 100g: Energy 1491kJ/351 kcal / Fat 0.8g of which saturated fatty acids 0.2g / Carbohydrates 77.7g of which sugar 0.5g / Fiber 1g / Protein 7.8g / Salt <0.03g. PREPARATION OF BASMATI RICE: Rice contains starch, which requires its better stickiness. Therefore, rinse the rice thoroughly and several times. A few drops of vinegar in the pot before cooking can also help reduce stickiness. Steaming, not boiling, is the correct preparation of Basmati rice. One part of rice should have two parts of water, definitely not more. Add salt to the pot before cooking, this way it will ideally be absorbed into the rice. Secure the pot against steam leakage. You can use aluminum foil to seal the pot just before the boiling point. Then place a lid on the foil. After boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer the rice for 15 minutes.
