Turmeric, Indian saffron, Indian ginger, jianghuang (translated as "yellow ginger"), in Latin Curcuma longa are just some of the names for the Indian spice originating from the rhizome of the long turmeric plant.

Turmeric, most often used as a spice, is also great for health and beauty. It is one of the oldest Ayurvedic remedies, mentioned in the Indian Vedas, which are five thousand years old. Turmeric and its benefits were also known in ancient China. From India, where turmeric comes from, its fame quickly spread throughout Asia and Europe. It is also mentioned in the diary of Marco Polo, who qualitatively compared turmeric to saffron. Turmeric has gained popularity mainly as a spice with a slightly bitter taste, typically giving it a yellow color.

Turmeric is most often used as a spice, but its spectrum of uses is much broader.

It has a positive effect on maintaining healthy joints and bones. It contributes to good digestion. It has an effect on the fat content in the liver and normal liver function. It supports the proper function of blood circulation, cardiovascular and respiratory systems.
It has also been proven to have effects on the activity of the nervous system and mental balance. It is known as an antioxidant. It has a beneficial effect on the immune system and on healthy skin.

Ingredients: 100% Curcuma longa, 400 mg/capsule.
Capsule shell: HPMC (hypromellose). The capsules are of plant origin, also suitable for vegetarians or vegans.
Recommended dosage: Take 1 capsule 3 times a day, 20 min. before meals.

Storage: Keep in a dry and dark place, out of the reach of children.
Warning: Do not serve as a substitute for a varied diet. Do not exceed the stated daily dosage.
