Cavia Complete food provides the following functions: Dental Care Dental problems are very common in guinea pigs. This is usually a direct result of inappropriate feeding, which does not contribute sufficiently to the natural wear and tear and continuous growth of teeth. By incorporating intact long pieces of fibre with a high proportion of silicates into Cavia Complete pellets, maximum chewing, wear and tear of teeth and a healthy oral cavity are achieved. Fresh Vegetables The extrusion process allows fresh vegetables to be added to the pellets. The addition of at least 10% fresh vegetables ensures a delicious taste of the pellets. This, combined with the fibre and texture, makes Cavia Complete a food for guinea pigs with a high degree of digestibility. Long Fibres (long pieces of fibre) Guinea pigs are herbivores by nature and need a diet with a sufficiently high fibre content and a low starch content. Cavia Complete contains 20% crude fibre. The unique processing process ensures that Complete feeds only contain intact long pieces of fibre rich in silicates. Exactly the same as those found in the natural diet in nature. These long pieces of fibre support and improve the function of the intestines and teeth much better than the crushed or otherwise broken fibre in standard rodent feeds. Low Calorie (low calorie) The combination of low energy and starch content and a high content of long pieces of fibre guarantees easy digestibility and balance of the diet. Your guinea pig will thus maintain an ideal weight. * Florastimul The addition of prebiotics, fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) and mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS), has a positive effect on the health of the intestinal microflora. In this way, the correct balance and function of the intestines is achieved. * Vitamin Plus (extra vitamins) Adding important vitamins to the food supports overall health. Vitamin A is essential for skin cell renewal, vision, reproduction and metabolism. Vitamin D3 stimulates the deposition of calcium/phosphorus and thus supports bones. Vitamins E and C are important antioxidants that protect the body from free radicals. Both also strengthen the body's natural defenses. Guinea pigs are unable to produce vitamin C in their bodies themselves. Therefore, the intake of this vitamin through food is vital for these small rodents. A stabilized form of vitamin C is used in Complete foods. Unlike the crystalline form, stabilized vitamin C undergoes oxidation and biodegradation much more slowly and therefore remains active for much longer. * Pro Immunity (better immunity) The addition of natural plant pigments, lutein and ß-carotene, has a positive effect on overall defenses and condition. These carotenoids are known as highly effective biological antioxidants. In addition, they stimulate the production of antibodies against diseases, thereby strengthening the body's natural defenses. Optimal Coat Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in Complete foods support healthier skin and a shinier coat. Omega-3 fatty acids are contained thanks to added flax, omega-6 thanks to added vegetable oils. This achieves an optimal ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. * Anti Hairball Thanks to the use of specific natural fiber, the risk of hairballs in the stomach and digestive system is reduced to a minimum. * Odour Control All Complete foods contain yucca extract. This binds ammonia and other components responsible for odors emanating from feces. Unpleasant odors are thus significantly reduced.

Feeding instructions: depending on the size, breed and age of the guinea pig, we recommend feeding 35-50 g daily.
