Vietnam OP is the main representative of black Vietnamese teas. It is grown in the northern mountains of Vietnam. It is labeled OP (Orange Pekoe), which means that it is a leaf tea from the finest parts of young shoots. Vietnam OP is characterized by a full, harmonious taste with a delicate malt aroma and an attractive golden infusion. We recommend it for preparing both traditional hot tea and iced drinks for refreshment.
Black teas generally have a strong taste and a distinctive aroma. These are fermented teas. The fermentation process colors the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant and awakens their typical taste and aroma, while also extending their shelf life. In East Asia, black tea is also called red tea.
The Chinese tea tree acts as an antioxidant and supports physical and mental activity. Drinking tea is suitable for maintaining healthy teeth, supports bone and skin condition. It is recommended for weight control, is able to normalize blood glucose levels and fat metabolism. It supports normal heart health.
Recommended preparation:
Put two to three teaspoons (6–9 g) of tea in a teapot and pour 500 ml of boiling water over it. Steep for 3–5 minutes. You can prepare 1 infusion from this tea. To soften the taste, we recommend trying a combination with milk.
