White Monkey is a well-known Chinese tea originating from the Fujian region. It is a high-quality genuine green tea, which is sometimes mistakenly considered white tea due to the high proportion of fluffy tips. White Monkey offers a light yellow to greenish infusion with a delicate and exceptionally clean aroma. The taste is delicate, floral with a hint of sweet honey.

Green tea has been known to mankind for more than 5 thousand years and is perceived as a basic tea. The largest producers are China and Japan. It is part of Eastern medicine, where it is attributed magical effects. It is associated with many rituals and cultural traditions, especially in Southeast Asian countries. In general, green tea has a fresh aroma and a milder taste than black tea. Dried leaves should be green, firm and shiny. This is a tea that has undergone minimal oxidation.

Chinese tea tree acts as an antioxidant and supports physical and mental activity. Drinking tea is suitable for maintaining healthy teeth, supports the condition of bones and skin. It is recommended for weight control, and is able to normalize blood glucose levels and fat metabolism. Supports normal heart health.

Recommended preparation:
Pour three teaspoons (8 g) into 500 ml of water at a temperature of 75 °C and steep for 2–3 minutes, then strain. Up to three infusions can be prepared from this tea. With each subsequent infusion, it is advisable to extend the steeping time by one minute.
