Product detailed description
The Incas called quinoa the mother of grains (although it is not actually a grain, but the seeds of a type of quinoa). Quinoa contains a high amount of protein with a rare balanced proportion of amino acids and is naturally gluten-free. We use it as a side dish instead of rice or potatoes, as a base for hearty salads and a filling for soups and for preparing sweet porridges and stews.

PREPARATION: Rinse the quinoa with cold water and cook it like rice. Bring 2 cups of water and 1 cup of quinoa to the boil and cook for 15-20 minutes "to the bite", similar to al dente pasta.
