Product detailed description
Bear's garlic (Allium Ursinum) is related to chives, garlic and onions and has been used as a spice for centuries.
It is also popularly called wild garlic, forest garlic or forest leek and has achieved great importance in phytotherapy.
Bear's garlic is a perennial plant growing up to 40 cm tall. The root is bulbous, the stem is straight, the leaves are mostly ground and petiolate, covered on the surface with a cuticle, which is why the leaves are smooth and light. The flowers of bear's garlic are white, small and often form an inflorescence in the shape of an umbel. The fruit is a capsule. The plant is native to the Caucasus and Eastern Europe, but over time its geophyte spread throughout Europe and Asia.
Wild garlic has a beneficial effect on the health of the heart and vascular system, supports circulatory functions, contributes to maintaining normal cholesterol metabolism. It supports the removal of heavy metals from the body, affects intestinal functions.
Wild garlic was rediscovered by modern cuisine a few years ago and is currently available in the form of a wide range of products. Its advantage is its garlic aroma. Interestingly, after use, the user does not feel the same as after using garlic.
