Product detailed description
Sagebrush is a perennial plant growing up to 1.5 m tall. The stem is straight, branched, grooved and richly leafy. The usable and collectable part is the entire above-ground part of the herb, i.e. the stem with leaves. Wormwood comes from temperate climates in Europe, Asia, Asia Minor, the Mediterranean or the Middle East.
According to ancient myths, wormwood has a divine origin, the name is derived from Queen Artemisia, who used it to treat her husband in 353 BC. The advice that if a pilgrim puts a sprig of wormwood in his shoes, he will not feel tired during a long march also comes from these times.
The provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on nutrition and health claims, do not allow us to inform you about the effects of this herb on your body. Please find information about the effects in freely available sources or in a herbarium.
