Rye sourdough
Rye sourdough extract will enhance your homemade bread with a strong and aromatic rye flavor.
For two loaves of bread, add: 1 kg of flour (of your choice), 18 g of baker's yeast (because rye sourdough extract itself will not rise), 750 ml of water, 2 teaspoons of salt
1. Mix all ingredients.
2. Knead the dough for about 6 minutes.
3. Cover the dough and let it rest in a warm place for 45 minutes.
4. Divide the dough into 2 parts, sprinkle with flour (so that it is no longer so sticky) and place in bread molds.
5. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
6. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees on both sides, after placing the loaves in the oven on the lowest rack in the oven, also put about 40 ml of water in a heatproof bowl. Bake the bread for 60 minutes.
7. Let the bread cool.
