Arrabbiata is a popular type of tomato sauce for pasta. Our arrabbiata was made in Tuscany, Italy, from locally harvested vegetables and fresh tomatoes ripened in the sun until red. The tomatoes and other vegetables were grown according to the principles of controlled organic farming, they were not transported or stored long distances. The typical sharp taste is achieved by adding fresh hot peppers. During gentle preparation, the sauce retains the natural aroma and taste of ripe tomatoes as well as a maximum of nutrients. Simply heat the sauce and serve with pasta. It can also be used cold as a "dip" for dipping tortillas, raw pieces of vegetables or potato chips.
